Scene 1

This scene takes place in the main hall of the ER; it begins with two firemen wheeling an injured teacher in. The fireman beckons for Dr. Chen, who is talking with Martin, a mute man.

One of the firemen says, "Hey doc, this lady’s got smoke inhalation, some minor burns. Chen responds with "Alright", then referring to Martin says "Malik, can you get him to curtain one?" Malik answers, "Got it!"

The fireman goes on "Fire at Martin Luther King elementary. She stayed inside getting her students out."

The teacher says, "I had the space heater on; it fell on a little girl’s sweater." [Obviously the sweater fire got out of control so fast, that I decided not even to try and put it out with my shoe or throw some water on it]

Walking beside the stretcher Chen checks the teacher's nostrils and says, "Alright, no swelling in the naries, put her on a monitor, get carboxyl hemoglobin." The teacher says "The heating’s been out since January… "

Kerry arrives and asks, "Is this the stabbing?" [Yes, Kerry…hence the lack of blood] and Chen says, "Smoke inhalation."

The second fireman speaks to Kerry as they turn around to head out "Some minor burns coming in behind. Plan on more. Second building went up as we were leaving." The first fireman adds, "We’ve got all engines in the area responding. We’ve gotta get back!!" As they leave the stab wound patient is brought in.

Scene 2

As a second stab victim is being worked on by Kerry and Chen, Lily bursts in and says "Dr. Weaver, a wall collapsed at the school fire, how many can we take?" [How many walls?] Kerry says without hesitation "3 criticals, 4 minors!"

As she's getting ready to intubate the patient Chen says, "Ok…call respiratory and ENT." Kerry moves up to stand by the patient's head and says, "Hang on, she’s trying to say something. Honey, can you tell us your name?"

The patient does not answer and they begin to bag her using a mask. Chen goes on "Ok, suction ready. Hold cricoid while we bag." [No Chen, you’re not supposed to be giving head. Quit getting your night job mixed up with your day job]

Chuny says, "Pulse ox is coming up 96 percent."

As Kerry is bagging the patient she says "Probable medial sternum injury, we’ll have to triple scope her." [Triple scope her? Now that sounds interesting! Kerry must be puling out her arsenal of new sex experiments to later try on Sandy!!!]

Chen notices Martin staring through the window and says, "Oh great! Could someone take him to curtain one?" and Lily goes out to get him. [Is that Chen’s signature phrase this episode or what?]

Kerry orders "Six hundred of Klendin, 200 of Detramycin." [I am sure the spelling is wrong- I have never even heard of Klendin?] and Chun says, "Meds are in!"

Chen is getting anxious and says, "We should tube her, Kerry!" [Ok Chen, for the last time…you are at work at the “ER”- not your other job] But the patient is acting like she wants to speak; She pushes Kerry's hand holding the bag away and Kerry tells Chen "Wait", leans over closer and asks, "What is it?" The patient manages to whisper, "I loved her…" Kerry straightens up with a stunned but compassionate expression on her face.

[I don’t think anyone really knows the reason why TBTB had to include this lesbian obsession gone terribly wrong thing. So, I will just pretend like it never happened. Kerry would never do that to Sandy anyway.]

Scene 3

As Kerry works on a patient, Haleh comes in and says, "Dr. Weaver, Renee Carlson’s mom is here." Kerry asks her "Is there anything on the firefighters?" [Kerry is beginning to get a little worried about her terribly attractive former flame. She can hardly concentrate on anything else. It just keeps running through her mind, “Goodbye Dr. Weaver…I did you a huge favuh, you just don’t know it yet.” Wet lips, PDA, Kerry should just go find her.] Haleh shakes her head and answers, "Not that I know."

Scene 4

Kerry and Carter are treating one of the firemen from the school fire. As they transfer him from the backboard to the ER gurney Carter asks him, "Were you knocked out?" He replies, "Naw, but I was pinned pretty good. [Speaking of being pinned…Don’t you just wish Carter was really listening to hot firefighter Sandy explaining how Kerry had “pinned” her to the bed the night before!] Carter instructs, "Pull a front load panel, c-spine, chest and pelvis." [Hold on a minute Carter, how well do you know this fireman? Is he your IFF?]

Kerry asks, "School fire?" and the fireman replies, "It’s a bad one!"

Going on with the examination, Carter reports, "Contusions and abrasions to mid-thigh. Can you wiggle your toes for me?"[Carter is rummaging around down pretty close to this guys’ junk. Mid-thigh- interesting. Wiggle his toes…I swear something else was wiggling down south]  

Kerry goes on "Good breath sounds. Follow my finger. Did you get everyone out?" [As Kerry says, “follow my finger” she is really saying, “don’t I just have the nicest, trimmest, smoothest-edged nails in the world? They are perfect for…”]

The fireman says, "One kid unaccounted for. We were looking for him and the floor above us collapsed." Kerry asks, "Who’s we?" [Edited to really say, “does that include my devastatingly gorgeous intimate firefighter friend?] He answers, "About six of us. They vented the roof and half the main wall fell in."

As Kerry is examining his ears she asks: You get all your guys out safe?" [Guys? Kerry, what about your girl? That’s what you really want to know. Where’s hot Sandy?] and he says, "Still looking for three when I left…Hansen, Jeffries and Lopez." Kerry pauses and asks fearfully, "Sandy Lopez?" [Finally Kerry stops “beating around the bush.”] The fireman explains, "She was the first one in." [Explaining that Sandy is always the leader of the pack and Kerry should definitely consider chasing after her- definitely]

Scene 5

Kerry walks into one of the exam rooms where Lily is with a little boy who is happily twirling around in a chair. Lily explains, "Danny Barnett. He was found on the scene at the fire, no obvious burns or injuries.

As he continues to twirl Kerry pokes him and says, "People were very worried about you, Danny. Where were you?" He answers, "Cafeteria."

Kerry asks Lily "How are his stats?" She answers, "99 on room air." Kerry takes his chart and says, "Okay…did you breathe in any smoke, Danny?" He carries on "No, I told the fire lady I’m not hurt. She still made me come." [Fire lady, how cute? Sandy, our little fire lady!]

Kerry leans down at this and stops Danny from spinning so she has his attention as she asks, "Is the fire lady here with you now?" [Please tell me she is…I need to see her right now. Can someone please tell me where she is, please , please!!!!] Danny says, "She rode in the ambulance with me" here Kerry checks outside the room in case, as Danny continues, "Maybe they took her home." [I would love to ride in an ambulance with Sandy…so many possibilities…]

Kerry goes on asking softly "And was she hurt?" [Please tell me she’s okay…I cannot wait to see her and have my way with her...] As Lily smiles, Danny says, "Don’t think so. She was telling me jokes." Kerry hands the chart back to Lily and tells Danny "Ok…I’ll be right back, Danny, ok?" Kerry walks out toward the admitting desk saying on the way "Jerry, call the 38 and verify that all of their firefighters are accounted for." As she passes the desk on her way to the ambulance bay, Jerry argues, "They're probably still busy with the fire." [Big duh, Jerry, don’t you know that one of those firefighters is Kerry’s IFF? Don’t question our Kerry- just make the damn call!!!] Without breaking stride Kerry says, "Just do it!" And Kerry goes on outside to the ambulance bay, where she looks all around hoping to see Sandy, but it is empty.

The most important scene of all!!! This scene takes place on a dimly lit Chicago street outside a bar. Kerry is leaning against Sandy’s red car as Sandy leaves the bar and walks across the street toward her.

Kerry, leaning against the car, head slightly lowered says, "Hey!"

Sandy responds as she walks seductively across the street, clad in tight fitting black pants, a red shirt, and a black jacket- looking extremely gorgeous, highlighted curls gently blowing in the night breeze, with "Out bar hopping?" [Obviously being sarcastic, what Sandy really meant to say was, “So you were too scared to actually come into the bar and have a drink, so you waited outside in the cold for me- WOW! You want me]

As she struggles to find the right words, not wanting to entirely admit her intentions, Kerry starts, "Ah, I was just…" and as she reaches the car Sandy fills in "Lost?" [Actually, I am sure that as soon as she saw Sandy walk out of that bar, she knew exactly where she was supposed to be. In Sandy’s arms, holding her, kissing her….] But Kerry finishes her thought while looking directly at Sandy "Looking for you."

Sandy nods and grins a little sarcastically as she turns to start unlocking her car "And you only found my car." [No gorgeous, she didn’t just find your car, she found you…and you just wait a little bit longer and she will show you show you some real sparks]

Disappointed, Kerry looks down for a second then goes on, "It was great what you did for that kid today." [What she really meant to say was, you have got to be the sexiest firefighter in the whole world. You rescue kids during the day and fill my fantasies at night- perfect]

Looking up at Kerry, Sandy nods before dropping her eyes again, saying "Part of the job. You know, the good part, when the fire doesn’t get ya." [So humble…just part of the job. I think Sandy could pretty much utter anything and it would sound sexy.] Kerry looks around as Sandy leans down to put her key in the door lock, and says, "Do you wanna, you wanna talk about it?" but Sandy goes on with unlocking the car saying "I have to be back at seven.” [So dedicated to her work. And so playing hard to get- tantalizing]

Kerry moves quickly to wedge herself between Sandy and her car and then proceeds to take away her keys "You know what, you can’t drive!" [Yeah, she probably can drive, but who wants her to? She needs to stay there and talk with you some more and do some other things] Sandy straightens up, looking directly at Kerry with a grin on her face and says, "Kerry, come on!" [Edited to say, Kerry cum on the backseat of my red car, please?] Kerry waits just a moment then says softly "You were missing. I was worried." [Kerry finally admits her reason for stalking Sandy outside of the bar. What a sweetheart, she was worried all day about her IFF]

Perplexed, remembering that Kerry has not been able to give herself totally and openly to a relationship, and not wanting to be hurt again, Sandy stares at Kerry, then says "I’m touched." Eyes on Sandy's mouth, Kerry swallows and continues, "You were right. You did do me a favor." [Edited to say, you did do me a huge favuh! She did do you a favor, because now you are going to have your way with her on a dark street in Chicago. Jealous anyone?]

Kerry leans forward and plants a soft, closed mouth kiss on Sandy’s flawless lips… [Be still, my heart] As she draws back Sandy looks at her in obvious confusion about Kerry's real intent and drops her eyes, beginning to babble "Come to think of it, it was a pretty cool save, fire went to three alarms, I couldn’t see my hand in front of m…" Through it all Kerry's eyes never leave Sandy's mouth and when she can wait no longer, she leans in, [Ok, could this Sandy be any hotter…Kerry kisses her and then she totally melts and starts babbling on about the “save.” Kerry, grab her, grab her now and never let her go- she is precious] holds Sandy's face between her hands and interrupts her with a passionate kiss. Sandy is done now- she melts as Kerry kisses her again, slowly opening her mouth against Sandy's lips. As they kiss for the second time Kerry put her arms around Sandy and Sandy gives in and embraces Kerry. Then they stand holding each other tightly as the scene ends.

[Oh my God…to be a fly upon that car…or the lips upon Sandy’s…or Kerry’s… Could Sandy have looked any better? Her brown curls blowing gently in the breeze. Her sparkling eyes looking innocently into Kerry’s. Their lips melding in a tender lock. Perfection…perfection.]
